How to check and/or change your default printer

Operating Systems: Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10
 
1. Open the Control Panel
 
 
2. Click on
 
To check your default printer, look for the Green tick next to the printer icon
 
 
To change the default printer
 
Using your mouse, right click on the printer you want Windows to default print to and left click on Set as default printer
